Easyfairs, a trade fair organizer active throughout Europe and known in Switzerland and the logistics sector primarily for the packaging trade fair Empack, Logistics&Automation, and Maintenance, has published its first sustainability report. This report is linked to ambitious goals for the future.

There are numerous synergies between logistics, industrial maintenance, automation, robotics, and digitalization. Easyfairs Switzerland will once again transform Messe Zürich into an innovation and technology hub on August 28th and 29th with its "maintenance" and "all about automation" trade fairs.

Looking far into the future, exoskeleton manufacturer German Bionic is showcasing its "360° Human Augmentation" at the leading European technology trade fair "Viva Technology" in Paris. The company promises new human-machine interfaces, human-centered robotics, and new data analysis tools.

This year's IFOY Award competition in the category "Integrated Customer Solutions", which focuses on the success of integrated overall solutions, sees an exciting head-to-head race between Agilox's robot fleet at BMW and Mercedes' Factory 56. 

Around 60 interested participants attended this year's logistics colloquium hosted by Acel & Partner at ETH Zurich. Three presentations covered topics such as virtually CO2-free steel production using hydrogen_,tool recycling, and the restructuring of a supply chain at a sporting goods manufacturer.  

Swissmem reports an exceptionally successful appearance with a Swiss pavilion, featuring 40 Swiss companies and brands, at the CCMT manufacturing technology trade fair in Shanghai. A Swiss logo projection was staged amidst the Shanghai skyline in front of 230 guests.

A fast charging park for 70 electric trucks in combination with a photovoltaic system, an intuitively working order picking assistant, and a digital information system for safety monitoring in rail transport are nominated for this year's final, which will take place on June 13th in the Kursaal in Bern.

Following the two test days of the International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award and the nomination of applicants to the final race, which was already considered a special honor, the Test Camp Intralogistics, which took place at the same location, once again saw a high number of attendees.
