Automation, as mentioned, doesn't have to be complicated. Even simple, repetitive logistical processes can be carried out automatically with high-lift pallet trucks like the EXV iGo. Forklift manufacturer Still successfully implemented this at DP-Supply, a subsidiary of Deutsche Milchkontor DMK.

Now Linde MH also offers an expanded series with an integrated lithium-ion battery: The major advantage, according to the manufacturer, is the increased space in the driver's cab, which is up to 35 percent above the industry average, and the fact that the footwell has grown significantly with the elimination of the traditional battery compartment.

Crown draws a thoroughly positive conclusion from its participation in LogiMAT, which took place in Stuttgart from March 24th to 26th  . According to the company, particular attention was paid not only to the WJ50, but also to the InfoLink fleet management system and the new Proximity Assist system. 

 The logistics provider Koch, having already installed a high-bay warehouse with 36,000 pallet spaces, also wanted to automate its storage area for fast-moving goods. Before the WJ 50, Crown's new electric pallet truck, goes into the final round with numerous competitors from other material handling equipment providers at the International Forklift of the Year (IFOY), it could be inspected again at this year's LogiMAT in Stuttgart.

Forklift manufacturer Still remains committed to developing concrete applications for internal transport. Until now, there was primarily one "blind spot," says Still'sSales Director Florian Heydenreich: the automation of loading and unloading processes at the dock. This is now being addressed with the new AXL 15 iGo.

The new Toyota Traigo80 for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor applications, which is making its debut at LogiMAT, is available in five variants with an 80-volt battery – or, in the high-performance package, also with a 90-volt battery. Lifting capacities range from 3.5 to 5.0 tons.

The Chinese construction machinery manufacturer XCMG is showcasing its handling equipment for ports and container depots at LogiMAT. They are also presenting special "conveyor technology" for electric commercial vehicles, which is being promoted through government subsidies of up to six figures.

 At the NVIDIA technology conference GTC in San Jose (California), Kion is currently presenting “GXO”an autonomous forklift for warehouse use and an AI-based, safety-certified person detection system for automated truck loading 

Economical to purchase, with focused performance, ergonomic and equipped with numerous safety features, the new Linde Ri14 to Ri18 series reach trucks from Linde Material Handling (MH) are set to premiere at LogiMAT.

The Kion Group (Linde, Still, Dematic, Baoli) reported significantly higher order intake for the past fiscal year 2025 than in the previous year. According to the company, order volumes rose to €11.7 billion, while revenue declined slightly to €11.3 billion. It was described as a "transition year" . 

 Back in the summer of 2025, Jungheinrich had already announced its intention to close production at the Lüneburg port by the end of 2027.Employees there had been on strike since November 20th. After more than 80 days of intensive negotiations, IG Metall, the works council, and Jungheinrich finally reached an agreement.
