improve overall vehicle ergonomics and comfort in its new " Linde Egg " " Egg " n't just a simple " egg " nor does it have anything to do with Weichai. For better differentiation, a hyphen might have been helpful, leading " ie series " or a " Dr. Egg wheel ." " Columbus's egg " . However, the nomenclature within the model series ultimately resulted in the "
Egg " designation.
A significant plus
Technically, the three- and four-wheeled models from 1.4 to 2.0 t are based on the standard Linde E electric forklifts with a classic exchangeable battery concept, but thanks to the innovative energy concept of the integrated lithium-ion battery, they also offer a significant increase in comfort and safety.
The new Linde Ei14 – Ei20 electric forklifts are designed for light to medium-duty applications in single- or two-shift operation down to -20 degrees Celsius. This makes the Linde Ei models an economical and ergonomic alternative for companies that have previously used electric forklifts with lead-acid batteries for internal material handling.
Entry level lowered
Contributing to the ergonomics is, among other things, the fact that the entry step is only 40 centimeters above the ground, making getting in and out very comfortable. " This low, yet wider, entry design is a leader in the entire vehicle class " notes Senior Strategy and Portfolio Manager Richard Bozem. This advantage is particularly noticeable in this tonnage class, " because in many operations, the driver frequently leaves their seat to perform other logistical tasks. " The risk of tripping is reduced.
Networked upon request
Like the Linde E14–E20 electric forklifts with swappable batteries, the models with integrated batteries also feature a 48-volt drive system and maintenance-free asynchronous motors. This provides them with sufficient power for their range of tasks. Thanks to turntable steering (three-wheel version) or Linde combination steering axle (four-wheel version), and in combination with their compact dimensions, they achieve high throughput even in confined work environments.
Much more space gained
As standard, Linde Curve Assist automatically adjusts the speed in curves to the steering angle, while Load Assist uses pressure sensors and lift height switches to control tilting, lifting, and driving functions to prevent tipping accidents. Optional assistance systems such as Speed Assist (automatic speed adjustment when entering halls), Safety Pilot (load monitoring), and Safety Guard (warning zones) provide additional safety.
Comprehensive sensor technology
As part of the completely redesigned Linde 12XX forklift generation, the Linde Ei14 – Ei20 models feature an electrical/electronic system architecture and comprehensive sensor technology. This enables a wide range of digital functions. For example, the optional data transmission unit allows operating hours and fault codes to be wirelessly and securely transmitted to fleet management or service applications. System updates or additional vehicle functions can be " over the air " .
