Economical to purchase, with focused performance, ergonomic and equipped with numerous safety features, the new Linde Ri14 to Ri18 series reach trucks from Linde Material Handling (MH) are set to premiere at LogiMAT.

The new models are designed for standard applications with low to medium usage intensity. They will be advantageous in distribution centers or retail environments, as well as in the food, automotive, and chemical industries. Optional upgrades such as "PowerDrive" and "PowerLift" increase travel and lifting speeds for higher throughput.
Numerous additional options
Numerous features contribute to a high level of safety. These include the standard all-wheel braking system and a shoulder protection bar. The driver's workstation offers exceptional comfort: it is completely decoupled from the chassis, provides excellent all-around visibility, more space, and is highly adjustable. Digital interfaces allow the reach trucks to be integrated into company IT systems.

“The new reach trucks with a lifting capacity of 1.4 to 1.8 tons are aimed at the growing number of companies looking for compact, maneuverable vehicles for single- and double-shift operation. At the same time, they should be as economical as possible to purchase, high-quality, powerful , and safe and comfortable for the operators”explains Product Manager Alexander Schmidt. This will make them the preferred choice when it comes to supplying goods to and from the warehouse – in other words, when goods are transported within the warehouse and stored and retrieved in block or racking systems.
Comprehensive security
With an overall length of 1,215 mm (l2 dimension) and a turning radius of 2,709 mm (AST), as well as lifting heights of up to 11 m, the Ri models ensure optimal utilization of storage capacity. If more performance is required for material handling, the vehicles can be equipped with the optional PowerDrive and PowerLift functions. These options increase the travel speed by 18 percent and the lifting speed by 16 percent – new top values in the standard class.

Two mast series ensure high residual load capacities. The mast functions are controlled ergonomically and with millimeter precision via the Linde Load Control system. The operator can quickly and easily regulate direction and speed using the Linde dual-pedal control. For multi-shift operation, an optional lithium-ion exchangeable battery is available, ensuring continuous vehicle availability.
Low-fatigue handling
A key competitive advantage is the standard hydraulic load wheel brakes, which ensure short braking distances regardless of load weight and mast position, giving the driver maximum control over the vehicle. The also standard Linde Curve Assist automatically adjusts the driving speed to the steering angle when cornering, increasing stability.

The elevated seating position gives the operator improved all-around visibility of the load and surroundings. Optional features such as a bulletproof glass roof, shoulder protection bars, and innovative assistance systems like the Linde Safety Guard for collision warnings or the Rack Protection Sensor, which prevents damage to the racking, .
Reliable service
The driver's workstation, completely decoupled from the chassis, effectively dampens shocks and vibrations transmitted to the driver and, together with the sprung driver's seat, prevents premature fatigue . Components such as the steering wheel, seat, and an optional height-adjustable pedal plate can be individually adjusted to the driver, ensuring a relaxed working posture. The wide and low entry with a non-slip surface facilitates frequent and safe entry and exit during everyday warehouse operations. Numerous storage compartments provide ample storage space.
Maintenance-free components such as the induction-hardened mast guide rails ensure high availability and a long service life. Thanks to modern electronic architecture, software updates and new vehicle functions "over the air" be installed remotely 14.3 kWh lithium-ion battery is considered particularly energy-efficient and can be retrofitted with a more powerful 21.4 kWh battery if power requirements increase.
