Visitors to Dematic's TechCenter will have the opportunity on July 11th to experience the next generation of mixed pallet picking, a new robot picking cell with improved gripping and vision technology, multishuttles, stacker cranes and a drone inspection "live".
The event offers a comprehensive program with live demonstrations of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), the new mixed-case order fulfillment solution, and the latest developments in customer service and software. In recent months, Dematic has expanded its award-winning TechCenter in Heusenstamm to provide interested parties of all sizes and development stages with a comprehensive insight into the future of warehouse automation. Visitors will have the opportunity to test some of the new solutions or, for example, navigate through various virtual warehouses. The event takes place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

“We want to take visitors on a short journey around the world, while our experts provide insightful glimpses into current Dematic installations and solutions being implemented internationally,” says Rainer Schmid, Head of Sales at Dematic. Software will also be a key focus. “We plan to present our own Dematic software platform, as well as the integration of systems with SAP, and demonstrate some of the functions live,” Schmid adds. Dematic was recently positioned in the Gartner Group Magic Quadrant for its Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Among other things, Dematic will also present its comprehensive digital service portfolio. This includes thermographic inspections and vibration monitoring for the early detection of potential failures and their resolution via remote maintenance, also using a HoloLens or augmented reality.
