Resource conservation remains one of the main themes at LogiMAT (March 11-13). The focus ranges from forklifts with lithium-ion and hydrogen drives to alternative packaging and reusable AutoID systems, as well as energy recuperation in automated warehouses.

Trade fairs with strong knowledge transfer

The sheer variety of the supporting program offered at the upcoming LogiMAT (March 11-13) is almost overwhelming. Over the three days of the trade fair, around 70 expert forums will provide conference-level content. Every fourth forum will focus on artificial intelligence. And of course, there will also be hands-on logistics experiences.

The audience seats at the GS1 Logistics Talks during the Logistics & Automation trade fair in Zurich were packed at times, as the topics of robotics and automation were discussed. In the past, automated processes were considered "inflexible." Will this change with "AI"—and who will ultimately prevail?
IFOY announces pre-selection

From the Skypod storage robot to the FM-X iGo pushmaster: Of a total of 49 products submitted to the IFOY intralogistics competition, 21 devices and solutions from 15 suppliers from six countries, including four in the start-up category, are nominated for the final on July 3rd in Dortmund.
