The anniversary was celebrated with a ride on the red double-headed "Churchill" aircraft, originally built specifically for state visits and special trips – and the association's public image was updated.

The trophies for the International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) will be awarded in Baden-Württemberg for the first time next year. The final event will take place on June 25, 2026, in the atrium of the headquarters of the software provider AEB in Stuttgart.

The Swiss Association for Temperature-Controlled Logistics, headquartered at Galliker Transport AG in Altishofen, has chosen a location perfectly suited to showcase electromobility, new drive and cooling methods. On September 11th, the focus will be on Power & Cool: electric and hydrogen propulsion as well as cryo-N₂ cooling.

Congress moves to Dortmund

The German Material Flow Congress, previously located at the Technical University of Munich on the campus of the Institute for Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics (fml) in Garching as a platform for knowledge transfer, exchange and networking, is moving to Dortmund and joining forces with the Test Camp Intralogistics.


AI is intended to make logistics easier

 Logistics should not become increasingly complicated, but rather simpler for the user with the help of artificial intelligence. At least, that is the central theme of the 43rd Dortmund Talks, the so-called "Future Congress" of the Fraunhofer IML, taking place on September 9th and 10th.
