The intralogistics test camp in Dortmund, taking place on March 29th and 30th, will focus on ergonomics in a special testing area dedicated to lifting and carrying aids for warehouse employees. Exhibitors include Fraunhofer IML, German Bionic with Dachser, Trius with the Geis Group, Hunic, Japet, NeoLog, and Predimo.

We are amazed at how many people were here in Zurich,” says Stefano Ghilardi, President of Swisslifter and Managing Sales Director at Linde Material Handling. Both LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION and EMPACK were exceptionally well-attended on the first day of the trade fair duo in Zurich. "We had a very successful start," says Easyfairs project manager Stefan Voegele. An increase in visitor numbers compared to last year is expected in Bern.

23 finalists in the IFOY final sprint

According to the IFOY organization, 23 suppliers from seven countries have made it to the finals of this year's intralogistics competition with 25 devices and solutions. IFOY Managing Director Anita Würmser describes it as a "spectacular setting." The nominees will compete in the test camp at the end of March.

Extension of the deadline for the packaging price

The Swiss Packaging Institute (SVI) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the Swiss Packaging Award 2023, originally January 15th, to January 31st. Managing Director Andreas Zopfi says the application portal will remain open until then.
