The intralogistics test camp in Dortmund, taking place on March 29th and 30th, will focus on ergonomics in a special testing area dedicated to lifting and carrying aids for warehouse employees. Exhibitors include Fraunhofer IML, German Bionic with Dachser, Trius with the Geis Group, Hunic, Japet, NeoLog, and Predimo.

B2B visitors can experience these solutions firsthand in the special testing area: Along two walls of shelves, ergonomics enthusiasts can navigate an obstacle course and feel how lifting and carrying aids support the muscles. They can have their individual muscle strain measured and, based on the results, receive tailored recommendations for ergonomically optimized and efficient work processes. As a special highlight, the exoskeleton area also offers practical insights from users. Logistics service providers like the Geis Group will demonstrate the tools they already use to relieve the strain on warehouse employees. In a conference panel on March 30, exhibitors will also discuss the challenges facing the sector and the solutions that are already making work easier.

In addition to the special test area "Exoskeleton & Co.", the test camp has two further special test areas ready: The AGV Mesh-Up of the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association promises an interactive 5G setup this year. On approximately 500 square meters, automated and autonomous driverless transport vehicles from ten manufacturers communicate with each other via the VDA 5050 interface, regardless of the manufacturer.

An "Order Picker Safari" focuses on order picking. Horizontal order pickers from various manufacturers are available for testing in an area of approximately 400 square meters. In total, more than 100 innovations, including numerous world premieres, will be on display in Dortmund on March 29th and 30th, spread across 10,000 square meters of exhibition space.
