The goal is to establish and gradually develop a regular mobility service with automated vehicles in the operational area. Carpooling improves vehicle utilization. This creates a flexible, demand-based service that makes mobility even more efficient, sustainable, and customer-friendly. Each vehicle offers space for up to four passengers and sufficient storage space for luggage. The entire fleet is electric . "Automated driving is no longer a vision of the future, but a reality under development. Now it's time to gain experience with driverless vehicles. Pilot projects like this demonstrate how Switzerland is using automated vehicles responsibly – for safe, efficient, and accessible mobility," says Jürg Röthlisberger, Director of FEDRO.

A kind of "Apollo Mission" on a modern basis. Whether there will also be free rides for seniors, as was recently the case in the Chinese Hongshan district, is not yet known. It would also be important to know whether the autonomous system can reliably stay in lane even on narrow mountain passes and switchbacks.
