                transport.ch, the Swiss trade fair for commercial vehicles and workshop supplies, will be pleased to welcome renowned participants from November 4 to 8 in Bern. Council of States member Thierry Burkhart, one of the industry's most important voices, at the opening ceremony on November 4.
 
Since 2020, Burkart has been President of the Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association (Astag), advocating for numerous transport projects and business-friendly policies in the Swiss Parliament. Joining him in will be Christian Levin, Chairman of the Board of Management of Traton SE and CEO of Scania, one of the most influential managers in the global commercial vehicle industry.
Top managers as guests
Levin, who manages more than 100,000 employees worldwide, is considered a visionary in the industry. In September, he was presented with the World Quality Leader Award at ICQ 2025 in Tokyo – an award given to top international managers who set global standards. His participation underscores the strong interest of major manufacturers and importers in the Swiss market.

Another highlight will be the visit of a delegation from the Council of States' Committee for Transport and Telecommunications (CTS) on November 6. Led by its chair, Marianne Maret, Council of States member for the Canton of Valais, the committee members will be able to witness the innovative power of the mobility sector for themselves.

transport.ch 2025 expects numerous other national and international leaders, decision-makers, and industry experts over four days. Giovanni Fassi, CEO of the Fassi Group, with a production capacity of around 12,000 cranes per year, is also scheduled to attend on November 5. The reason for his visit is the world premiere of a new crane at the trade fair.
