Logistics provider Arvato has announced its planned acquisition of ATC Computer Transport & Logistics. The Irish company specializes in transportation and technical services for hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, and original equipment manufacturers.
The acquisition, which is still subject to regulatory approval, aims to unlock new opportunities in the rapidly growing data center services market by combining the complementary strengths of both companies. The merger of Arvato and ATC is intended to create a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the entire data center lifecycle. ATC Computer Transport & Logistics brings a robust European network covering key data center hubs, while Arvato expands this reach through its extensive global presence.
“Our combined portfolio will enable us to offer more comprehensive and innovative services worldwide,” explains Mitat Aydindag, President TECH at Arvato. “By combining our global expertise with the strong network of ATC Computer Transport & Logistics, we are strengthening our position in a dynamic market segment.”

The acquisition is still subject to antitrust approval, which is expected in the coming weeks. Until the transaction is completed, Arvato and ATC Computer Transport & Logistics will remain two independent companies, continuing their day-to-day operations as usual.
