Holger Schmitz has been with Clark since 2023 and previously held the position of Business Development Manager. Clark Europe has now appointed him as the successor to Stefan Budweit as Director of Sales & Marketing, who has been promoted to CEO.

Only seemingly a contradiction: Although the group's revenue in 2024 rose to 11.5 billion (previous year: 11.4 billion), and EBIT to 917 million euros (previous year: 791 million), CEO Rob Smith sees the need for cost-cutting measures – not only to maintain the market position, but to expand it further.

Clark Europe's new sales partner in Spain is the dynamically named "Areca Manutención." The material handling specialist, based in San Fernando de Henares, will handle the sales and service of Clark material handling equipment in the greater Madrid area.

LogiMAT visitors will have the opportunity to view new vehicles from Baoli EMEA from March 11th to 13th, including the KBET 15-20 electric forklift and the KBP 14-20 pallet trucks. The KBP 14-20 family comprises two models with load capacities of 1.4t and 2.0t.

Indeed, under the umbrella of KION, intralogistics provider Still has secured a kind of "jewel" by participating in the new competence center at Antwerp, Belgium, the world's largest trading center for diamonds, which was recently inspected by over 80 European trade journalists.

The EXD-20

Three new warehouse technology devices from Still's Xcellence series ensure smart efficiency and precision in internal transport. These are the EXV 10C-16C high-lift pallet truck, the EXD 18C-20C double-stacker pallet truck, and the EXH-L 16-20 low-lift pallet truck.

Amid the bustling trade fairs between Stuttgart, Zurich, and Dortmund, Hubtex is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the British market. From humble beginnings in a garage, Hubtex has developed into a highly regarded player there.

Following the trade fair in Zurich, Stuttgart will host LogiMAT (March 11-13). Visitors to Clark's booth in Hall 10 will get their first look at the two new crossover series, the L25-35XE and S25-35XE, with load capacities from 2.5 to 3.5 tons, and the new COP2 order picker.

AGV manufacturer Stäubli will be showcasing its robot-controlled FL1500 at Logistics & Automation (January 22nd/23rd) in Zurich. This ultra-compact counterbalance forklift boasts a maximum load capacity of 1.5 tons and high positioning accuracy. The machine represents future-proof production and intelligent workflows.

Hyster is delivering a battery-powered heavy-duty forklift to the Malta Freeport Terminals, which is powered entirely by 650-volt lithium-ion batteries. The machine is expected to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the Malta Freeport Terminals.

 The new stars

Linde Material Handling's (MH) prominently positioned booth in Hall 10 of the upcoming LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart in mid-March will once again showcase numerous products and solutions that are likely to attract considerable attention far beyond the capital of Baden-Württemberg. Foremost among these are the Linde E and Xi electric counterweight lifters with lifting capacities up to 2 tons.

For over ten years, Rolf Eiten led Clark Europe. Now he is stepping down as CEO, handing the reins to Stefan Budweit to take on other responsibilities within the company. Budweit had already assumed the role of COO (Chief Operating Officer) last year.

The New Year is fast approaching, and so is LogiMAT, Europe's largest trade fair for intralogistics and process management, taking place from March 11th to 13th in Stuttgart. Toyota MH is well-prepared with new forklift models, automated solutions, and innovations.

A. Ferket

 Hyundai Material Handling Europe will launch six new medium and heavy-duty forklifts and a range of warehouse equipment tailored to the European market in 2025, announces the new head of marketing, Ann Ferket.

Baoli is launching the KBP 14-20 to ensure functionality, safety, and user-friendliness despite its compact size and low weight. With its robust chassis and a load capacity of 1,400 to 2,000 kg, it's a good choice for use in retail stores, supermarkets, and DIY stores.
