Clark sends "Crossover" into the race

January 15, 2025

Clark LogiMAT 2025

Following the trade fair in Zurich, Stuttgart will host LogiMAT (March 11-13). Visitors to Clark's booth in Hall 10 will get their first look at the two new crossover series, the L25-35XE and S25-35XE, with load capacities from 2.5 to 3.5 tons, and the new COP2 order picker.

The crossover vehicles are designed to perfectly combine the proven features of an internal combustion engine forklift with environmentally friendly electric drives – without compromising performance. In addition to the COP2, other highlights include the new STE/SE three- and four-wheel forklifts with lifting capacities from 1.6 to 2 tons, which further expand the S-Series Electric range.

The crossover series is designed to demonstrate that Clark's power tools are capable of withstanding even intensive use. Equipped with lithium-ion batteries, they achieve long operating times with short charging times. Clark claims significant efficiency gains in warehouses and production facilities and is launching the new crossovers under its own product names for the first time in a long while. The L25-35XE is marketed as the "Raider" and the S25-35XE as the "Renegade".

The Raider series (L25-35XE) offers an entry into the crossover segment – a solid and reliable alternative to internal combustion engine forklifts. With excellent all-around visibility, predictable handling, and a proven mast design, the Raider series is engineered for cost-efficiency and long service life.

The Renegade series (S25-35XE) is designed for operators who want all the advantages of the Clark S-Series. Built on the proven chassis of the internal combustion engine S-Series forklifts, these models, like the S-Series Electric, offer a comprehensive range of features and set new standards. Like all S-Series Electric forklifts, they are equipped with an impressive array of safety features and customizable options. "We are delighted to launch the Raider and Renegade crossover electric forklift series," explains Head of Development Thomas Bach. "They are the perfect solution for companies that want to remain competitive in a constantly changing logistics landscape."

Another highlight will be the 48V electric three- and four-wheel forklifts of the STE16-20 and SE16-20 series with a lifting capacity of 1.6 to 2.0 t – available with either lead-acid or lithium-ion battery and, like their 80V counterparts, part of the S-Series Electric.

Here too, the operator has the option of switching the vehicle's energy source without significant additional effort (plug & play) should operational requirements change. Only the software needs to be adjusted accordingly. The vehicles can therefore be operated with either a conventional lead-acid battery or a lithium-ion battery. This makes them adaptable to virtually any operating scenario.

Clark is also presenting sustainable new products in the warehouse technology sector: The COP2, with a maximum lifting height of 6.30 m, is designed for order picking tasks to the second racking level. This compact vertical order picker is equipped with a driver's platform that can be raised to 4.80 m and cantilevered forks, allowing the operator to pick directly onto the pallet with the platform raised.
