Amid the bustling trade fairs between Stuttgart, Zurich, and Dortmund, Hubtex is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the British market. From humble beginnings in a garage, Hubtex has developed into a highly regarded player there.

Hubtex UK's roots stretch back to the early 1980s, even before Malcolm Manser and Hubtex conceived the idea of establishing an independent Hubtex branch in Great Britain. Hubtex UK commenced operations in 1999 – initially from a small premises that served as a sales office. A dedicated branch was opened in 2002, followed by an office with an attached workshop in 2004. Since then, Hubtex UK has undergone considerable growth. The company, which began as a one-man operation, now employs 16 people. In 2008, Hubtex UK moved to its current premises in Milton Keynes. Another milestone was the expansion of the service department, where a team of ten technicians now ensures comprehensive maintenance and servicing of the vehicles.

The first customers put Hubtex side loaders into operation as early as 1986. In 2004, Hubtex UK exhibited for the first time at IMHX, a major trade fair in Birmingham. This market positioning enabled the company to expand its product range to include multi-directional side loaders and to strengthen its market presence in order picking vehicles for kitchen countertops, wood-based materials, laminate, decorative panels, and aluminum and plastic profiles. Further important milestones included the introduction of the MaxX and FluX model series in 2016 and the PhoeniX series in 2018.

The past 25 years have been characterized by sustainable growth and the development of long-term customer relationships with companies like Eurocell, Antalis, Hydro, and Metsec. While leasing contracts in the industry are typically limited to five years, Hubtex UK has secured numerous long-term agreements with a ten-year duration and has maintained these arrangements since opening its UK branch. These partnerships demonstrate the high quality of the products and services, as well as the trust customers place in the company. "Our strength lies in the reliability and longevity of our products and the vehicle safety we provide our customers. These qualities have made us a trusted partner for many businesses," says Paul McNally, Managing Director of Hubtex UK.
