Amidst the discussion about new drive systems, it's easy to forget that there are other vehicle components that also contribute significantly to reducing CO2 emissions. Tire manufacturer Goodyear offers up to 13% lower rolling resistance with its "Kmax Gen-3".

According to the manufacturer, this tire offers the same mileage as previous generations, while utilizing a more sustainable material mix to provide improved traction and measured fuel savings. It is made from at least 40% recyclable materials, maintains the same durability, and focuses on reducing the total cost of ownership by lowering operating costs.

The tire range for commercial vehicles, buses, and coaches comprises more than 400 different types in 55 sizes. Customers include leading commercial vehicle manufacturers such as Volvo Trucks, Renault, Scania, DAF, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, and Iveco.
