Media representatives took the opportunity to visit Linde Material Handling's new "Experience HUB" on the sidelines of the highly anticipated presentation of the "Cooperative Autonomous Intralogistics Systems" (KAnIS) project in Aschaffenburg.
In the newly constructed, 5500 square meter hall with a representative reception area and the opportunity to take a short trip into historical vehicle dimensions (with a «Güldner Hydrocar T 30» and a HUB Trac), all areas are covered here, from the hydrostatically sensitive industrial truck to the combined racking technology.
Back to the future: A Hydrocar T 30.
Right next to the new, 6,000-square-meter, six-story headquarters, which – as previously reported – was occupied this week after a year and a half of construction, the adjacent hall complex now also houses well-equipped training rooms, ample opportunity for test drives with vehicles ranging from 1 to 18 tons, and computer simulations. Truck loading and unloading, as well as incoming and outgoing goods, are demonstrated in the warehouse area. A team of specialists is inspecting an H160 in a side area.

The northern half of the hall, separated by a mezzanine, offers ample space for events and up to 500 guests. A self-catering area provides a space for exchanging experiences and networking. From a gallery, guests, interested parties, and potential customers can enjoy a view of the world of internal transport, a warehouse landscape that also offers additional information on energy issues, control technology, warehouse management, sustainability topics, and occupational safety.
