Already thinking about LogiMAT

January 19, 2026

While the Logistics & Automation trade fair is just around the corner in Bern next week,  many are already preparing for LogiMAT, which takes place in Stuttgart from March 24th to 26th. Linde, under the motto "Composed around you", will be showcasing its forklifts and automation solutions.

When the doors of the Stuttgart Trade Fair Center open on March 24, everything will be ready for visitors  at Linde  MH's over 600-square-meter booth (stand numbers B21, B17, and C38), centrally located in Hall 10: A live demonstration will showcase expertise and  know-how in the development of more automated warehouse processes. Vehicle exhibits  will offer opportunities for hands-on experience, and the latest digital solutions will be presented on screens .

Individual demonstrations

Outside the hall, in the loading dock just a few steps away between Halls 8 and 10, visitors can receive individual demonstrations or even drive forklifts themselves. Another exhibition area  with consultation services will be set up in the exhibition grounds between Halls 9 and 10. "We cover the spectrum from cost-optimized offerings to high-performance solutions based on  innovative technologies," explains Monika Laurent-Junge, Senior Director of Marketing and Brand Communications at Linde MH.

In addition to its standardized automation portfolio, Linde MH plans to present customized solutions for  specific industry requirements, such as those of the beverage industry with its complex and heavy  load carriers. These solutions are part of the individualized Linde I-MATIC portfolio line, which enables the implementation of solutions for a wide variety of load carriers, including those weighing over 3 tons. "Linde MH is one of the few suppliers in the industry that has mastered the interplay of standardized and customized automation solutions, as well as stationary applications like the Linde S-Matic cube shuttle solution ," explains Linde's Chief Strategy Officer, Torsten Rochelmeyer.

The customer platform myLinde will be at the heart of the digital solutions. This cloud-based  web portal combines fleet management, security, and energy solutions. At the same time, it focuses  on data-driven and increasingly AI-supported decision-making: With an integrated  AI chat function, users can now access fleet data directly via natural language. The AI accesses  all data from the vehicles registered in myLinde, ensuring particularly simple, fast, and scalable interaction.

Complete analysis

Another highlight is the Real Time Locating System (RTLS+), based on proprietary, company-developed localization technology that can be installed at any location –  both indoors and outdoors. The precise real-time localization of manual material handling equipment  enables seamless analysis of positions and movement data.  This provides fleet managers and safety officers with a transparent basis for assessing safety-relevant situations, near misses, and shock events. RTLS+ also supports customers in the gradual migration to hybrid fleets – combining conventional and digitally networked systems.

Overload still manually

Not to be forgotten: Even though the field of automation solutions is growing rapidly,  manually operated industrial trucks still dominate internal transport operations. Therefore, there are also innovations  in this segment. In the area of warehouse technology, the new Linde Ri14, Ri16, and Ri18 reach trucks, with  load capacities from 1.4 to 1.8 tons, are leading the way. Available in standard or narrow-chassis versions,  they are the perfect choice for replenishment operations with low to medium usage intensity.

They protect and support operators during driving, loading, and unloading, forming the  basis for trouble-free processes. "With the new models, Linde MH now has an additional model series  for standard applications in its portfolio – economical to purchase without compromising on quality, safety, and ease of operation," emphasizes Rochelmeyer.

The road to becoming the «next champ»

The new electric forklift series with a lifting capacity of up to 2 tons successfully took the first steps on the road to becoming the "next champion"  last year. The Roadster model, a further  version with optimized visibility, has been added to the line of sight. The elimination of the A-pillar provides a wider field of vision,  making operation safer and enabling higher productivity. At the same time, the  vehicle design meets the highest driver protection standards.

Finally, the future becomes more concrete with the creation of 3D environment maps of the warehouse using a portable scanner, to  facilitate and accelerate the planning of automation projects. Further development steps focus on the simulation and real-time control of the fleets.
