Under the aptly named "Yale Reliant," the forklift manufacturer has put together a comprehensive package with state-of-the-art assistance systems, designed to be compatible with all types and brands, regardless of the manufacturer. 5,000 units are already in operation in the USA. The European premiere will take place at LogiMAT.

Visitors to the booth in Hall 10 will experience a live demonstration. The system monitors people, vehicles, and loads, helping to identify and avoid hazards. It is reportedly an award-winning solution.

Accordingly, "Reliant" combines location- and event-based functions. For example, it detects situations where operators lift loads above the recommended height, in heavy pedestrian traffic, or when obstacles or other hazards are present. At the end of aisles, at intersections, or when obstacles appear, the system automatically reduces speed. Pedestrian areas are also avoided. The fork height adjusts to the surroundings, and sight lines assist the driver.

“This is how we deliver solutions for the real challenges our customers face today,” says Ron Farr, Director of Warehouse Sales EMEA at Yale. “At the same time, our roadmap looks to the future of intralogistics.”

“Key customers in the US are already using this solution. We look forward to introducing it to decision-makers in Europe who are concerned about the increasing labor shortage amid rising volumes,” said Farr.
