The new SWX16 from Clark boasts first-class qualities for a high-lift pallet truck, easily reaching even higher shelves with its 1.6-ton load capacity and maximum lifting height of 5500 mm. With a turning radius of 1507 mm, it also surpasses its predecessor in space-constrained areas.
Lifting and lowering speeds of 0.20 m/s and 0.26 m/s (with and without load), as well as 0.4 m/s and 0.3 m/s (with and without load), are significantly higher. The standard Clark SpeedControl (CSC) automatically adjusts the travel speed to the position of the tiller. This means that thesmaller the distance between the operator and the vehicle, the more the speed of the hand-operated warehouse worker is reduced. If the operator releases the tiller, the vehicle brakes automatically. With the tiller in its normal driving position, the vehicle reaches a maximum travel speed of 5.5 km/h. All CSC parameters can be individually adjusted. Furthermore, the standard proportional hydraulic control ensures the precise storage and retrieval of delicate loads.

All controls are conveniently positioned on the tiller and can be operated by both right- and left-handed users. The long, low tiller design allows the operator to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle. Furthermore, the operator has an optimal view of the forks and can quickly and safely load and unload goods, even in narrow aisles.
The SWX16 is equipped with a maintenance-free, encapsulated 1.6 kW three-phase AC drive motor, ensuring powerful acceleration. High efficiency when lifting and lowering loads is further guaranteed by the 4.5 kW lifting motor. The SWX16 is available with a 24 V, 205 Ah lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery. Clark includes a 24 V, 100 Ah charger for Li-ion batteries as standard. Thanks to the Li-ion technology and the battery's fast charging capability, the vehicle offers high availability, eliminating the need for time-consuming battery changes.
Furthermore, lithium-ion technology not only increases productivity but also reduces costs for maintenance, infrastructure, and battery replacements. For applications where a lithium-ion battery is not required, the SWX16 is also available with a 24 V, 225 Ah lead-acid battery.
