Until now, the Baoli KBE series forklifts drew their power exclusively from 80-volt lead-acid batteries with a capacity of 360 to 450 Ah for the 2.5-tonne models and 500 to 600 Ah for the 3.0- and 3.5-tonne models. They are now also optionally available with lithium-ion batteries.
At LogiMAT in Stuttgart, the Kion subsidiary presented its new electric forklift series for the first time. The response from the trade fair visitors, says brand manager Francesco Pampuri, was overwhelming. Now, the next step is being taken here as well, for simple and everyday use.
Thanks to their payload capacities of 2.5 to 3.5 tons, the robust KBE series e-trucks are suitable for almost all sectors – from retail and manufacturing to warehouses and agriculture. "This allows us to offer our customers a new benchmark in our market segment in terms of quality and reliability, with the right performance level for their needs"says Pampuri.

The KBE 25Li G1 is offered with an 80-volt, 277 Ah lithium-ion battery, while the KBE 30-35Li G1 comes with an 80-volt, 412 Ah battery. Pampuri: “With this new option, we are making the decision even easier for our customers. (…) We offer simple, safe, and robust forklifts without unnecessary extras, optimally tailored to their applications.”
Up to 2,500 charging cycles are possible with one battery. All forklifts are CE marked. Baoli EMEA SpA, part of KION since 2009, has its European headquarters in Milan. Baoli was initially founded in China in 2003. In 2018, Baoli EMEA SpA was established as a new organization to expand the brand's existing structure in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
