O. Glaser
Since April, Toyota MH Switzerland has been under the management of Oliver Glaser, who moved to Switzerland from Toyota MH Germany. The Freiburg native has an interesting background. He was also CEO of an Italian motorcycle manufacturer – and head of Carrellificio Emiliano (Cesab) Europe.
In his new role as Managing Director, Glaser will be responsible for expanding the competitiveness and further developing Toyota Material Handling in Switzerland, with its two locations in Bülach and Safenwil. The goal is to focus on customer centricity and the associated customer needs, as well as to sustainably develop Toyota MH's market position.
Previously, Glaser was Sales Director for Toyota MH in Germany, but he also has close ties to Italy – not least because of his family, who live there.
He began his career at a management consultancy in Italy, followed by a start-up project in the field of connectivity in New York and a four-year stint as Managing Director at an Italian motorcycle manufacturer. Fifteen years ago, he moved into the forklift truck industry.
