From April 25th to 27th, Toyota Material Handling will be represented at LogiMAT with two key locations: its main stand in Hall 10, and in Hall 3 with the newly created Logistics Solutions Integration area, including a collaboration with its sister companies Vanderlande and Viastore.
At their approximately 500 m² stand in Hall 10, TMHE will be showcasing three new products. In addition to their updated and expanded range of narrow-aisle forklifts, they plan to present two new machines that, true to their "Radical Energy Design" (RED) concept, represent the further developed interplay between innovation, ergonomics, and design. The machine design focuses on the modular battery system and the operator.

The champions, the Toyota BT Reflex reach truck and the Traigo electric counterbalance forklift, which were preceded by several ergonomic studies and have won the German Design Award and the iF Design Award, are definitely on board. Besides increased driving comfort, Toyota focuses primarily on the "teamwork" between operator and machine. The result is that something that was already good has been made even better – such as the newly designed palm rest and controls of the BT Reflex reach truck.

In the field of lithium-ion and fuel cell technology, Toyota continues to see itself as a pioneer and innovation leader, supporting its customers in reducing their CO2 emissions. According to the company, around 90 percent of Toyota's portfolio already consists of electric forklifts, available with conventional lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion technology, or fuel cell drive. Thanks to integrated telematics hardware and the I_Site fleet management system, battery life can be further optimized and additional energy savings achieved (as is currently the case with around 200,000 connected vehicles). The automotive-compatible charging plug, presented for the first time at LogiMAT, makes charging the lithium-ion forklifts even easier.

Furthermore, TMHDE will present itself with its new Logistics Solutions Integration (LSI) division as a full-service provider of turnkey, integrated automation solutions from a single source. The range of solutions, tailored to individual customer requirements, includes some of the latest intralogistics technologies designed to increase operational efficiency and profitability. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) will also be on display. The focus will be on the smart interaction of various automation solutions in conjunction with Toyota racking systems. "We are already very excited about LogiMAT 2023," says Jan Lorenz, CEO of TMHDE Germany.
