The supervisory board of Hamburg-based forklift and intralogistics systems provider Jungheinrich has nominated Rolf Najork as successor to current chairman Hans-Georg Frey. The shareholders' meeting will decide on the appointment on May 11, 2023.
The Supervisory Board of Jungheinrich AG resolved today to propose to the company's Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2023, that Rolf Najork be elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Furthermore, it is planned to propose Najork for election as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. As previously reported, Hans-Georg Frey resigned from his position as member and Chairman of the Supervisory Board in September 2022, effective at the close of the Annual General Meeting in May.

Rolf Najork, born in Bergisch Gladbach in 1961, was a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH from 2019 to the end of 2022 and Chairman of the Board of Management of Bosch Rexroth from 2016 to August 2022. There, he was responsible for the central Technology Manufacturing department and central quality management (Quality), as well as the Industrial Technology business sector with its Drive and Control Technology and ATMO (Manufacturing Tools and Systems) divisions, and Bosch Connected Industry. He was also responsible for activities within the framework of the hydrogen initiative and the Bosch Group's business in North and South America, Japan, Korea, and Australia.
Beyond the succession arrangements for the chairmanship of the supervisory board, the committee has decided to propose Kathrin Elisabeth Dahnke for election to the supervisory board, of which she has already been a member since the beginning of December 2022 by virtue of a court appointment.
