Designed for occasional use in single-shift operation, Jungheinrich aims to appeal to customers with two new series of robust electric forklifts with load capacities between 1.6 t and 3 t, who do not want to forgo proven quality even in the entry-level segment.
With this addition, the manufacturer is now offering its customers, for the first time, basic models for light to medium-duty applications, in addition to its well-known high-performance electric forklifts. The vehicles are designed to impress with performance, reliability, and durability despite their low purchase price. "With the EFG BB and BC series, we have achieved a new interpretation of quality that impresses with its functionality, efficiency, and attractive price-performance ratio," says Sales Director Christian Erlach. "With our new EFG series, we are deliberately targeting small and medium-sized enterprises and their needs: low purchase costs, fast delivery times, and solid basic features.".
The EFG BB and BC series forklifts are available in three- and four-wheel versions and, with load capacities of up to 3 t, can be used in cross-industry applications in production, trade, warehousing, workshops or agriculture.
The agile EFG BB 216k three-wheel forklift, with its compact design, is particularly well-suited for flexible transport in confined warehouse environments. The EFG BC four-wheel forklifts are available in load capacities from 1.6 to 3.0 t. The EFG BC 325(k)/330 models, in particular, are a cost-effective alternative to 80-V vehicles thanks to their 48V battery and are also suitable for outdoor use. Three different mast types in numerous sizes and configurations offer the right equipment for all standard applications up to a lifting height of 6500 mm. Mast and sideshift are controlled hydraulically via mechanical levers. The use of simple attachments with selected optional equipment is also possible.

The EFG BB and BC series forklifts are manufactured at the Jungheinrich plant in Qingpu, China. The same quality standards apply to their production as to Jungheinrich's performance series, which are built in Germany. "With the EFG BB and BC series forklifts, our customers get Jungheinrich quality at an unbeatable price," says Erlach. The vehicles are equipped with wet disc brakes as standard. Thanks to their enclosed design, the brakes are particularly resistant to dirt. Up to 30 percent of the energy is recovered during braking, significantly increasing the vehicle's operating time per battery cycle. A twin-motor front-wheel drive with a ZF transmission ensures high performance and low fuel consumption in every application.
As standard, the EFG BB and BC series are also equipped with the curveCONTROL safety system, which reduces the driving speed during cornering depending on the steering angle.
Five different driving modes enable safe operation adapted to any warehouse situation. An arched protective roof, compact mast profiles, and optimized chain and hose routing provide all-around visibility. The EFG BB and BC series come standard with a 2-inch display showing battery level, remaining operating time, selected driving modes, and safety instructions. The Grammer MSG 65 seat is available as an option for particularly ergonomic working conditions.
