Clark has rebranded its low-lift pallet trucks with foldable operator platforms under the name PPXS20. These trucks are ideal for medium to long transport distances, as well as ramps and inclines – thanks to power steering and roll-back protection.
The PPXS20 low-lift pallet trucks are constructed using proven components and materials. The series comprises three model variants with a 2000 kg load capacity: The PPXS20 with a 375 Ah lead-acid battery in the 12 km/h version is ideal for long transport distances where high speed is essential. For shorter distances, a version with a maximum speed of 8 km/h is available. The lead-acid battery variants are available with various battery capacities to meet customer requirements. Depending on the application, a 24-volt battery with 225, 250, or 375 Ah is available. For intensive applications, such as multi-shift operation, where high availability is paramount, the PPXS20 is also available with a 205 Ah lithium-ion battery. The lithium-ion battery can be easily recharged without any reduction in its lifespan. Recharging is possible at any standard 230-volt outlet. In just 10 minutes, 7% of the battery capacity can be recharged.

Side protection bars are standard equipment on the PPXS20. Like the side protection bars, the platform can be folded away manually (pedestrian operation). The platform's footplate has a non-slip surface and, thanks to additional suspension, offers optimal comfort and safety. The low step height also makes getting on and off easier for the operator. When the operator leaves the platform, the vehicle automatically switches to standby mode. The machine can then no longer be moved. With the side protection bars activated, the maximum travel speed is up to 8 or 12 km/h. With the side protection bars folded away, the maximum travel speed is automatically reduced. The vehicle brakes automatically when the operator releases the tiller. At the same time, it displays error codes in the event of a malfunction, which assist the technician in troubleshooting.
