Bruno Jacques is the new CEO of Yusen Logistics Healthcare (Europe) and Vice Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Europe. He joined Yusen Logistics in 2018 as Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Benelux and Nordics, and at the beginning of 2024 his responsibilities were expanded to include Germany and Switzerland.
Sea freight with biofuel

The formula for biodiesel made from residual and waste materials is "Ucome" (Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester) , which reputable suppliers claim offers CO₂ savings of over 90% compared to fossil diesel. DHL and CMA CGM now intend to accelerate the use of this biofuel.

Stefan Hohm, Head of Development at Dachser, was awarded the "Logistics Leader of the Year" prize in Berlin, as announced, for innovations such as the digital twin @ILO and emission-free city logistics projects, as well as numerous initiatives in the areas of AI, machine learning, and big data. The Lynn C. Fritz Medal went to Welthungerhilfe (World Hunger Aid).

officially inducted into the International Logistics Hall of Fame to great applause for his contributions to modern prominent guests from business, science, non-governmental organizations, and politics honored the achievements of the former BLG CEO.
Structures created
He facilitated collaborations and created structures that continue to have an impact today. This made him an architect of modern seaport logistics – an achievement that also impressed the international jury. The decision regarding his induction into the Logistics Hall of Fame was made this summer by a jury of 70 prominent figures from business, science, politics, and media from 13 nations.

Stefan Hohm was met with great enthusiasm by receiving the "Logistics Leader of the Year Award 2025," sponsored by Still. The award recognizes his significant contribution to the innovation and digitalization strategy of the Kempten-based logistics service provider.

Having been with the company for 33 years, Hohm embodies a combination of pragmatism and technological advancement. Under his leadership, as previously reported, research and development became a strategic cornerstone at Dachser. Projects developed under his responsibility include @ILO for the real-time mapping of general cargo warehouses, real-time tracking of trailers and swap bodies, and numerous initiatives in the areas of AI, machine learning, and big data.

Frank Müller, Head of Sales and Service at Still, emphasized in his laudatory speech: "Stefan Hohm exemplifies a modern understanding of leadership – one that views change not as a risk, but as an opportunity for shaping the future." (...) For him, the "how" is more crucial than the "what": He creates structures in which new things can emerge, supported by attitude, teamwork, and the ambition to do the right thing correctly in the long term.

in Humanitarian Logistics was awarded at the event awarded for the first time to a German aid organization: Welthungerhilfe (WHH). The award recognized the project "Emergency Supply Prepositioning Strategy (ESUPS)," which improves national strategies for stockpiling relief supplies in disaster areas.

At its core is a digital platform called "Stockholm", which transparently maps the stocks of various humanitarian organizations and provides recommendations on which goods should be kept in which quantities and at which locations.
