With more effective freight handling, greater workplace safety and AI-based exoskeletons for industry, logistics, and relief for hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation clinics, the exoskeleton manufacturer German Bionic is currently advertising in Munich, Düsseldorf and Ulm.
The Logistics Summit in Düsseldorf on October 11th and 12th will offer insights into application examples for the active exoskeletons Cray X and Apogee in material handling in production or warehousing, loading and unloading pallets, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. Even in order picking, hybrid automation can be more effective than full automation in specific workflows. This approach uses smart wearables and robotic exoskeletons to ergonomically relieve workers while simultaneously integrating AI-based, networked, and secure digital processes (Logistics Summit, Areal Böhler Düsseldorf, Booth H2–S33) https://logisticssummit.de/
From October 10 to 13, German Bionic will present robotic exoskeletons for baggage handling. Together with Stuttgart Airport, German Bionic launched an initiative in 2020 to relieve baggage handling staff with active power suits – lifting up to 30 kg per operation. Following a successful test phase, the airport has integrated the AI-based power suits into its regular operations and has since benefited daily from healthier baggage handling (Inter Airport Europe 2023, Munich Trade Fair Center, Booth B6-870-6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. https://www.interairporteurope.com/de-de.html

For the first time, German Bionic will be participating in the Nursing Management Congress on September 21 and 22. The event will focus on innovative approaches to nursing, leadership, patient outcomes, development opportunities for nursing professionals, and the resulting opportunities and strengths for the nursing profession. German Bionic will be presenting its latest exoskeleton, Apogee+, for nursing staff. Based on the latest findings in nursing research, it was specifically developed for use in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation clinics. This innovative power suit relieves nursing staff of strain when lifting and moving patients weighing up to 30 kg per lift. It is comfortable to wear, dirt- and waterproof, and optimized to meet specific criteria for the healthcare sector. It is easy to disinfect and even features handholds for patients.
