transport.ch, the Swiss trade fair for commercial vehicles and workshop equipment, taking place from November 4th to 8th in Bern, is delighted to welcome renowned participants. Right from the start, National Councillor Thierry Burkhart, one of the most important voices in the industry, at the opening ceremony on November 4th.

Since 2020, Burkart has been the president of the Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association (Astag), advocating for numerous transport projects and business-friendly policies in the Swiss Parliament. Alongside him , Christian Levin, Chairman of the Executive Board of Traton SE and CEO of Scania, one of the most influential managers in the global commercial vehicle industry, will also speak.
Top managers as guests
Levin, who leads more than 100,000 employees worldwide, is considered a visionary in the industry. In September, he was awarded the World Quality Leader Award at ICQ 2025 in Tokyo – an award for top international managers who set global standards. His participation underscores the strong interest of major manufacturers and importers in the Swiss market.

Another highlight will be the visit on November 6th by a delegation from the Council of States' Committee for Transport and Telecommunications (KVF). Led by its president, Marianne Maret, member of the Council of States for the canton of Valais, the committee members will be able to see for themselves the innovative strength of the mobility sector.

Over four days, transport.ch 2025 expects numerous other national and international leaders, decision-makers, and industry experts to attend. On November 5th, Giovanni Fassi , CEO of the Fassi Group, which has a production capacity of approximately 12,000 cranes per year, is also scheduled to attend. The occasion for his visit is the world premiere of a new crane at the trade fair.

Several more world premieres are announced for transport.ch 2025.
