When Empack, the largest Swiss trade fair for packaging technology, takes place again on January 24 and 25, 2024 at the Expo grounds in Bern, over 73% of visitors appreciate the diverse synergies with the parallel «Logistics & Automation» event.
Looking back on the successful trade fair duo in Zurich, content manager and head of organization Kristina Nadjarian says the "Discover, Learn, Connect" concept has proven its worth. According to a survey, exhibitors and visitors from 2023 expressed extremely positive feedback regarding the platform and diverse program offered over two compact days.

According to the survey, 91% of visitors rated the trade fair as good to very good, and 92% would definitely recommend it. Kristina Nadjarian and her team are working hard to plan the lecture program and secure additional top speakers: "We are really looking forward to Bern. The overall feedback in Zurich was extremely positive, and many participants are now looking forward to Bern as an alternate location." With only a few remaining spaces, almost all exhibition stands were already fully booked. New exhibitors are also present: Proderma and PTG are participating in the trade fair for the first time.
Elco, Model AG, Wipotec Swiss, and WellPack are also participating again. Important and well-known key players such as BVS Verpackungs-Systeme, Schelling, Tanner & Co., Saropack, and Videojet Technologies Suisse are also on board. A key component of Empack is the extensive supporting program of "Packaging Talks," the content of which is developed in cooperation with the Swiss Packaging Institute (SVI).
The first day focuses on "Sustainability, Circular Economy, and Recycling." New regulations, reusable packaging, and topics such as "Food Waste" will be discussed. The second day will center on aspects like "E-commerce, Digitalization, AI, and Skilled Worker Shortage." Additionally, the winning exhibits of the Swiss Packaging Awards 2023 will be presented live at the talk area at the SVI booth.
With the voucher code «1901», which also applies to the parallel «Logistics & Automation 2024», entry is free on the «Empack» website.
