After Stefan Luginbühl served as interim head of Swiss Post Cargo, Stefano Arganese will take over the position on June 1st. Arganese most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer at DHL Freight.

An industrial image processing startup called "invisium" is launching "VisionPort embedded," a range of stationary, multifunctional scanning systems. These multi-camera solutions can measure and count transport loads as they pass through, scan codes, read labels, and identify damage.

The new Toyota Traigo80 for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor applications, which is making its debut at LogiMAT, is available in five variants with an 80-volt battery – or, in the high-performance package, also with a 90-volt battery. Lifting capacities range from 3.5 to 5.0 tons.

The Chinese construction machinery manufacturer XCMG is showcasing its handling equipment for ports and container depots at LogiMAT. They are also presenting special "conveyor technology" for electric commercial vehicles, which is being promoted through government subsidies of up to six figures.  

Gilgen is promoting its mecom container technology at this year's LogiMAT trade fair, among other things. This technology has been implemented at the University Hospital of Basel. Five kilometers of conveyor technology connect buildings and wards with high efficiency. Retrofitting and modernization are the specialty of the experts from Oberwangen.
