Four years after being named "Best Product," Wiferion is the standard for contactless power supplies for mobile robots. At this year's LogiMAT, the startup will be presenting its products for the first time under the umbrella of the power supply specialist "Puls," showcasing applications for 20 robot OEMs.

Standardization is currently one of the most important topics in mobile robotics. In this context, Wiferion is now used as a synonym for the inductive power supply of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). "The fact that our charging systems are now specified in the specifications of major automotive companies underscores this positioning," explains Julian Seume, former CSO of Wiferion and now Director of the "PULS Wireless" business unit. In Hall 6, trade visitors can learn how the leading charging technology supports them in optimizing and standardizing their transport processes with wireless charging. Seume: "More than 20 OEMs are charging with our systems at LogiMAT. This is a major advantage, especially for mixed fleets." Until now, users have had to set up their own charging infrastructure for each manufacturer because the chargers are not compatible with each other. This not only increases the complexity and susceptibility to errors of the entire system, but also increases installation and maintenance costs. The Wiferion standard eliminates this redundant charging infrastructure.

PULS Wireless will also showcase a new compact 1 kW inductive charging system specifically developed for small goods-to-person robots. This fills a gap in the market, as there has previously been no reliable wireless charging option in this fastest-growing segment of mobile robotics due to the compact design of the small AMRs.

The new mobile charging unit is 36% smaller than the etaLINK 3000, and the mobile electronics are now integrated directly into the charging pad. A sophisticated cooling system reduces heat generation. At the same time, the 1kW system offers all the advantages of the larger models, such as high positioning tolerance, maintenance-free operation, and a rapid energy transfer start in 1 second. The new rapid charging system is the first Wiferion product to be manufactured by Puls in-house.

In addition, interested parties can find out more about other power supply products for intralogistics, such as FIEPOS, a decentralized field power supply.
