A reunion is a joy: Henry Puhl, who left the intralogistics group Kion, will take over the position of Managing Director of the Austrian automation provider TGW starting in February 2024. He will replace Harald Schröpf, who is retiring.
Schröpf led TGW Logistics as CEO for the past six years and played a key role in the company's growth and success. The search for a new CEO was an intensive process , according to the board of the TGW Future Private Foundation, the sole owner of TGW Logistics . Henry Puhl's track record and leadership experience in the automation industry—most recently as Chief Technology Officer of the Kion Group —as well as his strong identification with the company's values, stood out and made him the ideal choice to lead TGW into the next phase of its development .
Martin Krauss, Chairman of the Board of the TGW Private Foundation, said: "With Henry Puhl, we have gained a highly qualified and empathetic leader with a deep understanding of the industry and an impressive track record. His expertise and strong identification with our foundation's philosophy of 'People at the Center – Learning and Growing' demonstrate the right blend of heart and mind," Krauss said.
In addition to his experience as CTO of the Kion , with him an international track record in industrial technology and the automation sector, and possesses covering the entire value chain . He is a charismatic leader with a deep understanding of the customer perspective, broad technical know-how, and extensive transformation experience. The 52-year-old has worked for well-known

Outgoing CEO Harald Schröpf , who played a key role in paving the way for today's TGW Logistics, will retire in 2024. His commitment to TGW Logistics and his successful work are deeply appreciated.
