Effective August 1, 2024, Michael Löckener has been appointed Managing Director of Operations at trans-o-flex Verwaltungs GmbH. The company manages the various trans-o-flex subsidiaries in Germany and Austria, which specialize in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

With the appointment of Löckener as managing director of the management company, the management team now has a clear and transparent division of responsibilities, says Martin Reder, CEO of trans-o-flex. In addition to the new addition, Löckener, the management team continues to consist of Martin Reder (CEO), Michael Schmidt (Finance), and Eugen Günther (Sales).

The 61-year-old from Löcken has been with trans-o-flex since April 2015. He started as Regional Operations Manager North and quickly assumed management responsibilities at subsidiaries. In July 2018, he became Managing Director of trans-o-flex ThermoMed, a company specializing in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical transport. In April 2019, he also took over as Managing Director of Training & Service GmbH, which develops training and further education concepts and offers training for employees as well as driver training. Since January 2022, he has also been responsible for the day-to-day operations of trans-o-flex Express GmbH & Co. KGaA as Head of Operations. He will retain his management responsibilities for trans-o-flex subsidiaries in his new role.

Before joining trans-o-flex, the freight forwarding agent and transport economist worked in various roles at the logistics service providers Fiege, TNT and GLS.
