Ingenuity was one of the key features at this year's congress of the German Logistics Association in Berlin. Among the exhibits was a cargo bike from e-cargo bike and last-mile specialist Rytle, featuring a forklift upgrade. It was presented by former Hyster-Yale pro Timo Antony.

The e-bike, dubbed "MovR3," boasts surprisingly compact dimensions that allow for loading a Euro pallet using pallet forks in city traffic. This fully suspended vehicle, with entry from both sides, can transport loads of up to 370 kg. The rear loading bay features an electrically powered pallet fork that conforms to European standard dimensions. In Germany, the bike requires no driver's license, registration, or insurance, and with electric assistance, it can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h.

One of the projects: Together with partner CITIPOST / Nordwest-Mail, the delivery of SV Werder Bremen fan merchandise will soon start in Bremen city center - sustainably and efficiently with two exchange boxes.

Since April, Timo Antony has been Managing Director of Sales, Marketing & Service at the Bremen-based e-bike provider. For over two decades, he held management, aftermarket, and sales positions at Nacco Materials Handling. At Hyster Yale, he served for a time as Marketing Sales Director EMEA, and most recently as Area Business Director Central Europe. Now he is Head of Sales for micro-mobility and city logistics at Rytle. It will be interesting to see how he performs.
