Miami isn't just a white sandy beach, it's also a central logistics hub for transports to and from Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean. Following a recent expansion in Chicago, the Vorarlberg-based company now has its own address there with an air and sea freight office.
The new location is located in the immediate vicinity of the international airport, one of the country's busiest transshipment hubs. The company currently employs six people in Miami. Under the leadership of Marcin Gonzalez, the location will continue to grow and become a gateway for transport to the Latin American markets.
Since establishing its own US national organization in 2017, Gebrüder Weiss has continuously expanded its network of locations and services in the United States. Today, the Vorarlberg-based company offers not only air and sea freight services, but also national and international full truckload services, heavy-duty transport, and specialized logistics solutions. The spectrum ranges from goods warehousing and local distribution to e-commerce solutions.

"Over the past five years, Gebrüder Weiss has firmly established itself in the market with its brand and services. Our customers benefit from a globally integrated network with a high degree of local expertise," explains US Country Manager Mark McCullough. The company recently moved into a larger headquarters in Chicago and opened another logistics warehouse. Gebrüder Weiss operates a total of five warehouse locations in the US and already employs 130 people in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, El Paso, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
