Under the logically sounding name NiKRASA, TX Logistik has presented the new generation of a transshipment system for "non-craneable semi-trailers" (ditto). The newly designed version 3.0 no longer requires a ramp, is stackable, and has been optimized for combined transport.
The system's further development was based on market experience gained from the practical application of previous versions, as well as close collaboration with both vehicle manufacturers and railcar developers. A key feature of NiKRASA 3.0 is the elimination of the terminal ramp, which was required in addition to the loading rack for transshipment in previous versions. Both components are now integrated into a single platform. This makes the system more flexible, simpler, and faster to handle. The loading rack can now be transshipped at any position in the terminal without preparation. There is no longer any additional handling time compared to a craneable trailer.
Thanks to the use of innovative manufacturing techniques, the new design's tare weight remains well below three tons. Furthermore, the development focused on enabling the loading of the widest possible range of vehicles. In addition to classic semi-trailers, silos, and trailers with fixed bodies, mega trailers, trailers without bodies, and container chassis (even including containers) can also be loaded. If the new loading rack remains empty in the wagon, swap bodies and containers can still be loaded as usual without any interference between the systems.

NiKRASA enables the handling of non-craneable semi-trailers without altering existing standards at terminals, on railcars, and on the railway. Given the often limited storage capacity at terminals, the loading rack features integrated supports that allow for five-high stacking without the need for additional equipment. This optimized storage benefits not only the terminals but also combined transport as a whole.
Following the presentation at InnoTrans in Berlin, TX Logistik plans the Europe-wide market launch in cooperation with Wecon, the specialist for combined transport solutions.
