“Given the global situation, it wasn’t really expected that we would end LogiMAT 2026 with new record highs”summarizes LogiMAT trade fair director Michael Ruchty. “But the market has clearly recognized that one has to act counter-cyclically in times of crisis”.

And so, after three days, the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management, the most important industry event of the year, successfully closed its doors once again, setting new all-time records in all key performance indicators, including record numbers of exhibitors, net exhibition space, internationalization, and trade visitors. Market researchers from Basel confirm these figures.
Independently confirmed
Exhibitors such as Gilgen Logistics, firmly established in pole position in Hall 1, conveyor technology specialist Ferag , and Stöcklin were well-positioned. Kardex, Kemaro, Sevensense by ABB, BlueBotics, Brabender, BVS Verpackungssysteme, Maxon, and Fehr Lagertechnik – a total of 23 suppliers from Switzerland – also made the trip to Stuttgart.

Even before the trade fair began, exhibitors had more than 120 world and European premieres across the 68,969 square meters of net exhibition space . Furthermore, Fraunhofer IML presented a current study on humanoid robotics at LogiMAT.
Targeted formats
With three specifically designed formats, the trade fair organizer also successfully addressed the shortage of skilled workers. The Young Innovators format, featuring presentations and pitches by the finalists of a start-up competition, and the LogiMAT Career Day on the third day of the fair focused on up-and-coming start-ups, innovators, and skilled workers in intralogistics.
Tons of loading aid
Alongside the successful career day, which aimed to enhance the image of intralogistics and inspire young talent and career changers, a "Die Wirtschaftsmacher" study entitled "Working World (Intra)Logistics," published. Its findings demonstrate how "Intralogistics made in Germany" could become a success story and export hit – if it isn't already.
