Material handling in the metal industry requires sophisticated systems. Kasto, a specialist in sawing and storage solutions, offers solutions for heavy loads such as the "Kasto flow unpack" – a drum-shaped rotary device that automates the removal of strapping bands, films, and wooden pallets.

Vertical and horizontal pushers then precisely align the sheets – a crucial advantage for subsequent automated storage. Directly at the sawing machines, a "Kasto load" optimizes material feed. For example, a laterally movable double roller conveyor minimizes downtime: While one side handles the active sawing process, the other performs preparatory tasks in parallel. On the outbound side, a system automates material handling after cutting. A circular sorting unit receives Euro pallets and material containers, while a lifting system precisely positions the pallets for transfer.

Clever material handling, automated sawing and storage: Kasto will be demonstrating at the world's leading trade fair for production technology EMO (September 22-26, Hanover) in Hall 17, Stand C54, how metal processors can make material flow more efficient and increase productivity.
