President Beat M. Duerler personally welcomed the high-ranking guests to an exchange on labor market integration in Switzerland. The focus of the visit was the "Labor Market Cooperation" (KoAm), a network launched by the Canton of Aargau in 2019.
Supported by the Office for Economic Affairs and Labour, the Aargau Social Insurance Office (SVA Aargau), the cantonal integration promotion agency, and interested municipalities, KoAm unites regional employment agencies, disability insurance providers, social services, businesses, and associations under one roof. The goal: to permanently integrate job seekers with challenging circumstances into employment while simultaneously supporting companies in their search for qualified professionals.
A key element of KoAm is the AMIplus program (Labor Market Integration Plus). It provides intensified counseling and support for social welfare recipients and recognized refugees, with the goal of qualifying them for the primary labor market. Experts from the Canton of Aargau demonstrated to the guests how AMIplus works in practice.
The Aargauer Zeitung reported on the exemplary integration support .
