Dematic with input at the Rhine Falls
September 2, 2025
The automation provider invites customers to its customer day on September 25th at the logistics center of medical device manufacturer IVF Hartmann at the Rhine Falls in Neuhausen, focusing on goods-to-person solutions, adaptive storage and transport technology, and the software and service offerings of Dematic.

Dematic will demonstrate how modern, space-saving solutions enable top performance even in the tightest spaces at this year's Tech & Trends Customer Day near Schaffhausen. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the medical device manufacturer's automated logistics center live. According to Dematic, the event will focus on compact, integrated automation technology for a wide range of applications.
“Whether it’s storage space, workforce or energy: the challenges are increasing while the available resources are shrinking. Automation is becoming a key technology in this context,” explains Thomas Bleiberger-Kneissel, Head of Sales for the DA-CH region.
High-performance solution installed
A key highlight of the day will be the project report by IVF Logistics Manager Manuel Merk on the construction of the warehouse and the implementation of the logistics concept there. The event offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the logistics center – located directly at the Rhine Falls.
Dematic has implemented a highly automated multi-shuttle system with an underlying put-to-light picking area in an area of just 400 square meters.

Overall, the event aims to provide a comprehensive insight into current trends and technologies surrounding compact, automated storage solutions.
