When heavy loads need to be moved using lifting equipment, the rigger is responsible for ensuring safe operation. GRUMA offers online courses for professionals who want to further their qualifications in rigging loads, lifting equipment, and crane operation.
On dates of August 10th, September 28th, and October 18th, the training offers a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical instruction, specifically tailored to the requirements and safety standards. The courses are based on training provided by experienced instructors, enabling participants to become proficient and competent for the final certification in a program lasting approximately three hours.
The advantage of online training lies in its flexibility: it can be completed anytime, anywhere, and integrated into the workday. All that's needed is a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, an internet connection, and audio output capability. Participants can complete the training at their own pace and delve deeper into and review individual topics as needed. After completing the online course, a theoretical and practical exam takes place at a training center, after which successful participants receive their certificate of qualification in the field of load lifting.
“In many industries, the safe handling of lifting equipment and cranes is essential ” says e-learning coordinator Clarissa Beck. “ With our new online course, we offer practical and thorough training that helps to increase safety and efficiency in the workplace. ”
