Forklift manufacturer Yale impressed hundreds of customers and dealers with new technologies and applications at a live demonstration at the Weeze test center. EMEA Sales Director Robert O'Donoghue stated, "We want to offer a motivating and practical training and networking event."
The three-day event took place at the expansive Yale Test Center in Weeze, near the German-Dutch border. Yale technologies were demonstrated in specially designed demo areas. The simulated, real-world environments included those typical of the retail, beverage, and food industries. During the first two days, dealers participated in training sessions and interactive demonstrations. On the final day, specially invited customers met with their Yale dealers for a closer look at Yale's solutions.
In the retail sector, picking and driver assistance systems were the focus, while the beverage industry showcased solutions and strategies for keeping pace with fast-paced operations. In the food industry application area, safety challenges were a key theme. The Yale Reliant driver assistance system was one of the key technologies. It reinforces best practices in forklift operation and improves driver alertness, which can contribute to overall warehouse safety.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to experience the latest warehouse technology models, such as the MO20-20X order picker, the MP20-30X electric platform pallet truck, the MRO16-20 outdoor reach truck, and the MSC12 compact electric pedestrian stacker.
EnerSys, an energy storage specialist, was the exclusive sponsor and presented a range of battery and drive solutions for fleets that can help them better address various warehouse challenges.
